It’s Halloween and housewarming time,
So here’s your invitation in spooky rhyme.

Come for a night of laughs and cheer,
With frightful friends and drinks aplenty here.

There’ll be treats and nibbles to get things started,
Though sharing your favourites is highly regarded.

Drop in early or arrive fashionably late,
Stay for an hour or longer to tempt fate.

But heed this stern warning before you depart,
Costumes aren’t optional, they’re an essential part!

A blood-covered Joker, a grisly Miss Disney, a Transformer or clown,
Turn up in plain clothes and you’ll be swiftly turned around.

Please let me know if you can come out and play,
It’ll make this clown happy, for this funnest of days.
